meet sanctuary wellness collective

before creating sanctuary, marisa spent her career in corporate strategy — optimizing systems, building frameworks, solving problems on paper. after work, teaching and taking fitness classes in search of calm.

she found it on the mat.

marisa is a dual-certified yoga and pilates instructor based in northern virginia. she earned her yoga certification at spirit yoga in san diego, studying under vinyasa and yin traditions, and trained in classical pilates at equinox — rooted in joseph pilates' original lineage. in every class, she brings the same precision she once applied to strategy: centering, breath, and intentional movement that builds from the inside out.

her mission is simple. to give you the tools and the space to build your own sanctuary — wherever you are.

we are growing with you — sanctuary is currently evolving into a comprehensive wellness hub, featuring:

  • an exclusive skin and body care: a proprietary line launching in early 2027

  • a boutique studio: our flagship yoga and pilates studio is slated to open its doors in mid-to-late 2027, located in tyson’s, virginia
